Please do not copy or have this tattooed. This is a very special tattoo I designed and will be getting soon as a memorial for my Grandma. She passed away on October 31st of 2005, leaving a big hole in my heart. She was taken by breast cancer, like so many others afflicted by this horrible disease. She loved hummingbirds, and if you look closely, you will see that each petal of the daylily has a pink ribbon on it. I will be more than happy to donate this image to a non-profit organization in support of finding a cure.

no need to thank me. just do this - next time you see the opportunity to donate to cure cancer (at a store, somone coming up to your car), throw a dollar in for you grandma. you know i will. :-)

hey... did you have that done on miami Ink.... Had to be you.... I remember the name (laverne) and the story... i think you already had the bird right? these things always touch me cuz I have lost so many close to me... :tears:a few being my mom 59 yrs old(cancer) , brother 44 (Acetominophen od-took to much tylenol)- and nephew (his son) 18 (from a car accident.)i have 2 memorial tattoos... :heartbreaker:

sorry it took so long to reply. my computer is retarded. anyway, no i've never been on maimi ink. i wish i could get tattoo'd by Garver! anyway, i'm still waiting to round up the cash to get it done, but i'm changing it to 'Grandma' instead of LaVerne. I wish to god i could get it done by Kat Von D but haha yah right like $300 an hour. Okay well thanks for the comment, sorry to hear about yr family. I've lost so many in the past year it's been hard, I know how you feel...
